Obtained settlements in excess of $40 million for patentee in patent infringement actions against multiple Fortune 500 companies. These lawsuits involved digital wireless communication systems and devices utilizing cellular, 802.11, and WiMAX technologies.
Mark Halderman has broad experience in several areas, including intellectual property litigation, real estate and land use disputes, and matters arising under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, Title VI, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
Mark focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, where he has substantial experience in patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright matters, with an emphasis on patent litigation. For over a decade, Mark has represented both patentees and accused infringers in disputes concerning various technologies, including those used in telecommunications networks, media streaming, motion sensing and gesture recognition, and diverse mechanical devices. He also has extensive appellate and post-grant proceeding experience, including successful appeals at both the Federal and Eleventh Circuits.
